Taylor Elyse Arnold’s recent work “Meet Me in the Middle” is featured prominently as the cover to Dan Chilwell’s recently released mix, and is receiving a good deal of attention on mixcloud.com.
As of February 11, the jazzy, swingy mix with a little bit of something different near the end is ranked at number eight in the Mixcloud Global Swing chart and at 32 in the site’s Global Jazz chart.
“My mission is to spread the love and positivity of house music,” Chilwell said. “At the same time, it presents the unique opportunity to highlight the creations by some of my absolute favorite artists and people.”
Over the next week, Chilwell is scheduled to appear at the Weekend Wind Down on February 12 from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. and as the headlining DJ at Sorta Gras on February 18, which is an alternative Mardi Gras ball free and open to the public, featuring a number of bands and DJs throughout the day running the gamut of music from indie rock to jazz.
